At Hidden Gem Tattoo in Cardiff, we do things differently. From the moment you get in touch, you’ll be met with a friendly face, zero judgment, and zero pressure. We take the time to sit down with you, understand what you’re after, and make sure you feel completely confident before any ink hits skin.

Our Cardiff studio is kept to the highest hygiene standards, fully sterile equipment, single-use needles, and a clean, comfortable space that doesn’t feel clinical. We want you to feel at home here.

Your artist will work with you, not just for you. Got a rough idea on your phone? A detailed reference? Just a vibe? We’ll help shape it into something you’ll love wearing for life.

And when you leave, you won’t be on your own, we’ll walk you through aftercare and we’re always on hand if you’ve got questions.

We also believe a great tattoo starts long before the needle does. The consultation, the design process, the conversation, and making sure you’re getting art that reflects you.

We had a great chat too and it didn’t feel awkward at all. The tattoo studio was really clean and bright and wasn’t too busy or cramped either.

I chose a design from a flash set and it was all handled so well, the whole process was really smooth and everything was explained to me clearly. I’m already planning to go back in the near future to be tattooed by them again because of how great my experience was.
