Quinn May

I’m Quinn! I’ve been hand poke tattooing since 2021, self-taught and proud of it. My love of drawing goes way back, and honestly not much has changed since primary school when teachers had to drag my attention away from the doodles in the margins of my books. Now I just get to make them permanent, which feels pretty special.

My style stays close to black linework with some shading, and I love creating pieces inspired by the things I’m genuinely into day to day, whether that’s nature, nerdy obsessions, or anything in between. It makes for some brilliant client conversations when you find out you’re tattooing someone who loves the same things you do.

I feel incredibly lucky to be part of such a talented team at Hidden Gem, and I can’t wait to meet more wonderful, creative people along the way.

There’s never a rush in my chair. Tattooing is a personal experience, and I take the time needed so you feel comfortable and happy at every stage – from the first conversation to the finished piece. Whether it’s your first or hundredth tattoo, you’re always welcome here
